I don’t think s1-6 is not an asshole, he is just a likeable one to me, the abusive patterns are well there, the main ones are in the pilot itself.

@blahdose I have some irl friends who watch supernatural and weren’t even on tumblr (I know why even watch at that point) who were saying that Yes I can acknowledge that Dean did some problematic things but it was later in the seasons and it was bisexual repression or sm bs (you know how it goes) I had to facepalm bc well there’s canon shit that actually happened instead of speculation.
